I am currently a 4th year medical student at Des Moines University. I did my undergrad at The College of Saint Rose, a small-private institution in Albany,New York. I earned a Bachelors of Science in Biology with a GPA of 3.6 while working, tutoring, and volunteering.
Experience
I enjoy tutoring because I have experience from my undergrad. I enjoyed tutoring students who had difficulty with Anatomy and Physiology and Microbiology during my undergrad. I taught mostly through audiovisual methods and by quizzing students in order to see if they retained the content. I also participated in Peer Leader Tutoring, a program to teach science fundamentals to Education majors in college. Recently I have prepared for the MCAT and am very comfortable in the subjects tested.
