I am currently a Music Theory Assistant at the University at Albany, and I have a long experience of helping people and children understand music and math. I love teaching and guiding people, so tutoring and explaining concepts to peers has always been a natural, enjoyable activity for me. I have taken many math courses at the college level (I was originally a Double Major in Music and Mathematics), and have taken many music theory and composition courses, so I am well equipped to assist anyone who is struggling with any level of mathematics or music. Additionally, I have much experience with writing both creatively and technically (I write as a side job), and I absolutely love helping people pursue becoming better writers (which, by the way, starts with reading a lot).

Hobbies
I read a lot and watch a lot of Ted Talks, so I am foremost an absolute loser. But don't worry: I still get out. . . a bit. I am currently on the Men's Rugby Football team at UAlbany, so that's interesting (and no, I am not some HUGE guy; I am a winger/fullback, meaning that I am usually expected to be fast and can afford to be smaller). I additionally have a great appreciation for and interest in history (especially classics), all art forms (especially music, naturally), and athletics as a whole. (Have you ever tried curling? It's a lot of fun!) Finally, I love people. I love getting to know and working with all sorts of people, inclusive of hanging out with kids and attempting to enlighten their curious minds. Hopefully what you can gather from this is that I am an easygoing guy who has a true passion for learning and teaching, and I genuinely want to help people discover greatness in themselves.
