Experience
I am a mathematics tutor and work with anything from elementary/middle school math to algebra II, and help with Regents work and test prep. In the past, I've tutored eight graders trying to keep up with Regents Algebra. My experience also includes working closely with a disabled student and have seen my brother struggle with academics, so I'm deeply passionate about the help I provide. Many students are frustrated. I say it is not their fault they don't understand math and include their interests in each session, making it fun and interesting.I have an Associate of Science in Liberal Arts and Humanities, earned at Dutchess Community College with honors. In the honors program, I was in an accelerated learning environment. Now I go to Sage College of Albany and am pursuing a B.S. in Business Administration. Math takes up much of my time and mental well being, but I also enjoy outdoor activities and taking in majestic views during a hike. Water skiing, tubing in lakes, and going to outdoor country music concerts are some of my favorite things as well.
